1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using getMygig (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operators of getMygig.

2. What getMygig is

getMygig is an informational tool that helps users discover publicly listed job opportunities, benchmark rates, generate resume drafts, and explore employer intent — with a focus on AU, NZ, and Pacific contract markets. getMygig is not an employment agent, recruiter, migration agent, lawyer, accountant, or financial adviser.

3. No advice — informational only

Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, financial, migration, career, tax, or employment advice. AI-generated insights, job links, salary benchmarks, market data, suggested strategies, resumes, and pitches are provided for informational purposes only. You must independently verify all opportunities, visa terms, rates, and employer details before applying or making any decision.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for how you use outputs from the Service, including any resume, message, or pitch you send to a third party.
• You will not use the Service for unlawful activity, spam, harassment, misrepresentation, scraping in violation of a third party's terms, or automated bulk-apply that breaches any job board's rules.
• You will provide accurate information when using profile, resume, or intent features.

5. Third-party sites and links

The Service surfaces links to third-party job boards, employer career pages, and other external sites. getMygig does not control, endorse, or guarantee the content, accuracy, availability, safety, or legality of those destinations. Interactions with third parties are strictly between you and them.

6. AI-generated content

Outputs generated by AI models may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before relying on or sharing it. Do not submit AI-generated content as your own where a third party requires original or verified work.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its branding, code, and original content are owned by getMygig and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you input (such as your profile, resume text, and website URL). You grant getMygig a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Tiers, pilots, and pricing

Some features are labelled Basic (available to everyone) and others Pro (invite-only during pilot). Pricing, availability, and feature scope may change at any time. Any paid arrangement during the pilot is handled offline and governed by a separate written agreement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. getMygig does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that results will meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, getMygig and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunity, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the state in which the operator is based. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
